The Star Inn is a proper old-fashioned English country pub, the kind you thought had
disappeared forever. It is located on the southern edge of the village of Wenhaston in
east Suffolk, 4 miles from the inland town of Halesworth and 7 miles from the coastal town
of Southwold. We have been here since 2009 becoming a Free House in 2012. We
have created a vibrant, welcoming pub where we hope our customers feel comfortable.
Our pub garden, possibly one of the largest in the area, has stunning views across the
Blyth valley. We have plenty of seating so there will undoubtedly be room for
you when you visit. We think we have created a little oasis of calm in which to relax at
any time of day.
We have a varied selection of fresh beers and ciders, popular lagers and
stout. Wine, fizz and spirits are always in stock.
Food is served between noon and 2.30pm and again from 6 until 8pm Tuesday to Saturday.
